Lecturer, University of California, Davis<\/strong> Mi \u00e1rea de investigaci\u00f3n es la ecolog\u00eda funcional e integrativa de aves silvestres y especialmente de picaflores. Me interesa entender como los individuos se adaptan al cambio y su respuesta al estr\u00e9s. Esto involucra la relaci\u00f3n entre ciclos de historia de vida, hormonas, rasgos cognitivos, energ\u00e9tica y expresi\u00f3n de genes a trav\u00e9s del a\u00f1o. Trabajo en ambientes mediterr\u00e1neos en California y Chile, tropicales en Costa Rica y en el Desierto de Atacama. Espero desarrollar herramientas que contribuyan a la conservaci\u00f3n de especies amenazadas.<\/p>\n
